Iñigo Giner Miranda
Iñigo Giner Miranda is at home in a number of places – not only geographically, but also artistically: classically educated as a composer and pianist, he creates staged concerts and regularly works as a composer or performer/musician in concert halls and theatres all across Europe.
He has, for example, worked as a musical director and performer for directors such as Barbara Frey, Ruedi Häusermann, Matthias Rebstock and Rafael Sánchez at some of Europe’s leading venues, Schauspielhaus Zürich, Teatro Real Madrid, Schauspielhaus Köln or HAU Berlin, among others.
As a composer and concert stager he was selected for the #bebeethoven programme of the Bundeskulturstiftung (Federal Cultural Foundation), collaborating with the Zurich Tonhalle orchestra on the development of staged concerts for the orchestra. Since 2014 he also regularly works with the Podium Festival
Esslingen, staging concerts and creating new concert formats, which toured to places such as the Lucerne Festival, Pierre-Boulez Saal Berlin and Radialsystem Berlin. Further works of his have been shown at the Munich Biennale 2012, L’auditori Barcelona and Gare du Nord in Basel.
He currently teaches at the UdK Berlin with a special emphasis on new concert formats and stage work for musicians.
Vera Kardos
Vera Kardos was born in Hungary, grew up in Switzerland and currently lives with her family in Berlin, where she works as a musician, mainly in theatrical settings.
She began her studies at the Guildhall School in London with Detlef Hahn, continued in Bern with Hanna Weinmeister and graduated in Lucerne with distinction in Sebastian Hamann’s class in 2009.
Besides her musical education she studied philosophy for two years at the Humboldt Universität Berlin.
She played regularly with early music ensembles and orchestras such as Anima Eterna (Bruges) or la Scintilla (Zurich) and was on tour for three years in clubs and festivals with the Berlin based band ?Shmaltz!.
She is a founding member of DieOrdnungDerDinge and also develops sound and music concepts for the theater. For many years she has worked together with the directors Astride Schläfli und Julian Grünthal.
Cathrin Romeis
Cathrin Romeis is an actress and creates music theatre. She was born in the South Palatinate (Südpfalz) and first studied applied dramatics and musicology in Hildesheim, then acting at the University of the Arts, Berlin. She is particularly interested in developing plays and interdisciplinary productions with musicians, in particular experimental music theatre. She has worked with the music theatre collective OperDynamoWest, music theatre directors Ruedi Häusermann and Cordula Däuper and composers Clara Gervais and Johannes Kreidler, amongst others.
She also works with various theatrical forms of presenting documentary material and dramatic adaptations of biographies such as her production “Projekt OMA” (Project Grandma) at the Maxim-Gorki-Theatre or her work with the artist Sonya Schönberger and the director Christian Winkler.
She has performed, amongst others, in the Thalia Theater Hamburg, HAU Berlin, the Staatstheater Braunschweig, Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus and the Vienna Festival. She is a founding member of the ensemble DieOrdnungDerDinge.
