His Masters' Voices
a musical séance
what
In their newest production, the ensemble DieOrdnungDerDinge opens up a gateway to the past: aided by six modern compositions based on earlier works, the four performers conjure up the ghosts of Stravinsky, Schumann, Debussy or Orlando di Lasso.
Together they explore the musical afterlife, questioning the past and confronting the present in a musical séance that rediscovers just how present the past can be.
